About Me

My photo
Hi! I'm Elder Lundy and I represent The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm excited to be serving my mission in the Philippines! For further reading, see Ether 12:6, 27 "6. And now, I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith. 27. And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them."

The MTC is great! The rate of learning is absolutely unbelievable. My teacher only speaks to us in Tagalog. The only English words he uses are words that are the same in Tagalog, or when there are no Tagalog words to express them. It is really hard at times, but Brother Day (my teacher) has all the patience in the world and my district is really good about helping each other understand. I got my first companion yesterday his name is Elder Machen. He is a great guy! My room mates are Elder Machen, Dalton and Tapusoa. Tapusoa is from New Zealand and is a really special guy. As of earlier tonight, he was also made my district leader. Oh and now I am now a senior companion. After 4 weeks Elder Machen will be made the senior companion.
The spirit you can feel here is absolutely amazing. The brother ship here is just as awesome. My zone leaders, and a host of other senior elders, walk around our floor at random every night to give everyone hugs and say “gabi” “night” Here is my most used phrase
Ano po ang__________sa tagalong? How do I say__________in tagalong?
